Our day started around 8am when the birthday boy woke up. Of course, I had to go in and shower him with kisses. :)
Our nanny came over for a few hours in the morning to watch the little guy while I got some things done for his party the next day. She is such a huge help!!!
My brother and his girlfriend, Leanna, flew in from Philly that morning, so we were all able to go out to a nice lunch together that afternoon. We went to the Trader's Point Creamery which has farm to table food plus some wonderful ice cream.
Little man LOVES his books...Freight Train is one of our favorites.

Time for delicious ice cream! Liam wasn't too crazy about it, but don't worry, he has since come around...he's definitely my son. :)
After a yummy lunch, we were able to walk around the farm a bit, and Liam even got to pet a few animals!
Once we were done with the animals, we went back to our house so Liam could open some of his presents.

Before bedtime, we decided to give Liam a taste of cake in order to prepare him for his big cake smash the following day. I had an extra layer from when I made his smash cake, so we let him try it out. {I colored the cake blue, that's why it looks like it's a funny color}
Needless to say, he was not too keen on it, and he really just enjoyed pushing the cake around his placemat...

At that point, the birthday boy was done and it was time to rest up for his big party on Saturday! Party details coming soon! :)
