A Fall-filled Weekend

This past weekend, we took advantage of the beautiful fall weather and went to the pumpkin patch. I was able to get a few good pics, but boy oh boy, is it challenging to stage any pics with Liam these days. He is always on the go and if he's not in the mood, he's not going to do it. I guess that's the age though...

On Sunday, we had tickets for the Children's Museum Haunted House then a friendly feast with the witches afterwards. Liam was NOT a fan of the haunted house this year (we went during lights-on hours), but he had fun at the lunch. The suckers and treats didn't hurt either...

As much as I am over being pregnant right now (38 weeks and 4 days today), I'm glad we were able to have the time to do something fun with Liam just the three of us. We will be a family of four before we know it!!!

Liam turns TWO!

Back in June, we celebrated Liam's second birthday. We went all out for his first birthday, so we decided to keep things a little more relaxed this year. Not to mention we're building a house and Mommy's pregnant, so there was the time, money, and effort part of it too that just wasn't there.

Anyways, we had a great day starting out with presents at home, birthday waffles, a Porsche car show in downtown Zionsville, and a family birthday party at a local splash park. The birthday boy had a good day, and that was all that mattered.

And we can't forget that Liam's second birthday was also our 6th wedding anniversary. While we were downtown that morning, TJ even (begrudgingly) let us recreate one of our wedding photos. 

Six years later, one angel baby, one little boy, and another baby boy on the way...we are certainly blessed and we're so excited to see where this year takes us!

Maybe I'll Try This Again?!??

The days of blogging 3-5 times per week are long gone, but I'm back here to give this thing another shot. There are days when I miss the blog and a lot of days I don't, but I still enjoy reading other people's blogs, and, honestly, I miss having a place to document things about Liam. That baby book of his? Yeah, mostly empty. I realize that I need to write all the little things down somewhere, otherwise, they're going to be distant memories in my mind before long. And, Liam is going to be two {TWO!} just two short months from today, so he's growing up in the blink of an eye.

Since I last posted in July...well, a lot has happened. The biggest news? We're soon becoming the Stochels, party of four. This cool dude will be a big brother this fall...

This pregnancy has definitely been a little rougher on me than Liam's...more nausea/vomiting {mainly in the evenings, before and after dinner} and just feeling more tired and unmotivated too. I guess that's what happens when you're chasing around a toddler too. I'll be 13 weeks this Thursday, so I'm crossing my fingers that the second trimester energy comes my way soon. I can already tell I've been feeling a bit better the last few nights...let's hope it continues!!!

Hopefully, some of you will still read this little old blog. There's no way I'll be posting anywhere as much as I used to, but even once a week would be great. We'll see what happens!
