If you missed reading Liam's birth story, you can find that
here and
here.
After Liam was born, we stayed in our labor and delivery room for a couple hours before moving upstairs to the postpartum unit. We were very lucky to get one of the two suites on the family care unit, so we had a standard hospital room with an adjoining little lounge area with a couch, table, and chairs. It worked out perfectly because we could hang out there, and if I needed to feed Liam while people were visiting, I could just go to the other room and close the curtain for privacy.
Staying in the hospital for 48 hours can get a little boring, but thankfully, we had lots of family and friends stop by to visit which definitely made the time pass a little faster. Here are just some of the pictures we took of Liam's first couple of days...

Sounds like you had a great room and lots of visitors! Was there anything you were so happy you brought with you to the hospital? Anything you didn't need?
