Football season is right around the corner {!!!}, and that means I will soon be very, very busy. The fall is an extremely crazy time in the world of sports medicine. My Friday nights will no longer mean date nights with my hubby; I'll on the sidelines of high school football games. Then, I'll get to do it all over again on Saturday because Saturdays are devoted to college football. And on weekends that the Colts have a home game, I'll get to go to a third football game.
Wow, that's a lot of football.
But I digress.
Since I only have a few weekends left before things get super crazy, TJ and I decided we needed to take advantage of my little bit of free time left. Last weekend, we drove up to Sandusky, Ohio to go to Cedar Point. If you live in the Midwest and you love thrill rides, you need to go. It really is one of the best amusement parks. The views are pretty awesome too {the park is right on Lake Erie}.

| waiting in line for Millennium Force...that's the 300+ foot hill behind me. It was one of the best coasters I've ever been on...so good we had to ride it twice {once at night which was awesome!} |

Top Thrill Dragster was seriously one of the craziest rides I've ever been on. It launches you from a standstill and takes you from 0 to 120 mph in 4 seconds. A matter of moments later, you're 420 feet up in the air, then you're heading straight down to the ground before slowing to a stop. I was really nervous to go on it, but I'm so glad I did. I would have dragged TJ on it again if there hadn't been an hour and a half wait. Next time, I guess...

We had such a fun time on Saturday. It was something different from what we normally do, and definitely full of plenty of thrills.
Are you a roller coaster person, or would you rather do the smaller rides and see the shows?

I have always, always wanted to go to Cedar Point, but I haven't managed a trip yet. I love roller coasters! In middle school, I used to watch all those roller coaster specials on the Discovery Channel, and I remember the Millennium Force being heavily featured.
Looks like you guys had a great time! xo
Oh I just drove through Sandusky Ohio!
Oh so jealous! I am dying to go to Cedar Point. I have a lot of family in Cincy so I have been to King's Island many times but Cedar Point is next on my list!
